What do the “Mark High-CTR Ads” strategies do?

The strategy will locate ads that have a higher outbound CTR than the account average and mark them by adding the words "|| High CTR ||" to their names. The strategy will remove this "tag" from the ad's name if the outbound CTR drops.

This is another conservative scaling strategy, which allows you to manually select which ads to scale, but also requires you to monitor and scale manually using Ads Manager 2.0.

What do the “Attribution Delay Ad-set/Ad Check” strategies do?

Attribution delays might occur due to consumer behavior (people don’t always make a purchase right away after seeing an ad). Moreover, since iOS14, Facebook attribution might be delayed by up to 72 hours. Therefore, you need to ensure having automation tactics in place to turn ad sets back on if they were turned off due to an attribution delay.

Attribution Delay Check works like a ROAS-based Revive. It checks the ad-set performance to see if there was an increase in results due to attribution delay, and if the ad set is turned off, it will turn it back on.

What do the “Sneak Attack” strategies do?

Sneak Attack is a proven media-buying strategy that finds your lowest possible bid amount by gradually increasing the bid until you reach enough impressions. To set up this method, first ensure that manual bidding is set up to “Bid Cap” before launching.

This strategy comes with a built-in performance-based stop loss, and the strategy will also decrease the bid once it spends a certain percent of its daily budget.

What should I do if my automations aren’t firing?

Here is what you should do if your automation isn’t firing:

  1. Check your automation settings: Review the automation’s criteria and conditions are correct based on what you want to achieve.
  2. Compare the data: Compare the actual data with the automation rule criteria. If the criteria were met and the automation didn’t trigger, you should get in touch with our support team via live chat.

How often do Madgicx’s automations trigger?

Madgicx's automation will carry out automated checks based on:

  • Live performance stats
  • Time cycles

This means that how often automations trigger depends on how you define the triggers and the times in which they can operate.

Automations perform periodic checks to monitor whether the performance has reached the values you set as triggers (and fire if it has). Some automated tasks reset at a time you select, and some carry out a one-time permanent action.

In Automation Strategies and Custom Automation, you can also define the hours and days in which the automated rules can monitor performance and fire.

Where can I see my current automation tactics?

To check the status of each of your tactics, select “Automation” on the left sidebar menu and navigate to “Automation Overview”.

From here, you can

  • Turn your automations on and off
  • Search for specific automations
  • See the action frequency of each automation
  • Edit the settings of each automation trigger
