How to choose your ad account type

There are three different ad account types in the Madgicx app:

  • E-commerce
  • Lead Generation
  • Mobile App

While Amount Spent and CTR are key to any ad account, different types of accounts have different success metrics. This is why Madgicx differentiates the default success metrics across the app depending on your selected account type.

E-commerce

E-commerce accounts sell goods and services online. The main differentiating success metrics for E-commerce accounts are:

  • ROAS
  • Revenue
  • Cost per Website Purchase
  • Cost per Website Add to Cart

Lead Generation

Lead generation accounts aim to fill mailing lists and gather contact information.

The main differentiating success metrics for Lead Generation accounts are:

  • Website Leads
  • Cost per Website Leads
  • Cost per Landing Page View
  • CPM

Mobile App

Mobile app accounts aim to generate more downloads of a mobile app. The main success metric for these accounts is App Installs.

The main differentiating success metrics for Mobile App accounts are:

  • Mobile App Installs
  • Cost Per Mobile App Content View
  • Cost Per Mobile App Purchase
  • CPM

Where you select your account type

Now you know which account type you have, head to Settings through the main side menu and click “Manage connected ad accounts” to select the correct one. 

Scroll to the bottom of the page to view your ad accounts, and click on the “Account Type” dropdown to select the account type.
