We all know by now how important marketing data is, and the Business Dashboard is your compass within the Madgicx app. It’s your go-to marketing report that shows you a live snapshot of your business’s marketing performance.

What is the Madgicx Business Dashboard?

The Business Dashboard is a handy reporting tool included in the Madicx All-in-One plan. 

Why is it so useful? Because it shows you everything you need to know about all your advertising and analytics channels in one central place—Madgicx.

The Business Dashboard shows you your marketing data in real time, meaning that you keep your finger on the pulse of your advertising. 

Find it in the main Madgicx menu by clicking the graph icon to open the “Analytics” menu. You’ll immediately go to the Business Dashboard, which is also the first submenu item.

The “Blended summary” at the top of the Business Dashboard aggregates your performance across connected accounts, showing your most important business metrics at a glance. 

Below the “Blended summary,” you’ll see sections for each connected account, starting with  Facebook, showing important information in different formats like charts, graphs, and figures.

The more accounts you connect to the dashboard, the more sections you will have in your report.

Connect accounts to the Business Dashboard

At the top of the page, you can add more data sources by clicking the relevant icon.

Or you can scroll down to the bottom of the page to the “Connect more data sources” section. By clicking the “Connect” button on the right, you can add more accounts to the Business Dashboard so you can see all your data in one place.

You can connect Facebook, Google Ads, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Shopify, TikTok, and Klaviyo as data sources to your Business Dashboard.

When you click “Connect,” you will be prompted to either choose the account from a list or log in with your credentials to link them to the dashboard.

Customizing your Business Dashboard

With easy drag-and-drop editing, you can customize your Business Dashboard to look exactly how you want it, alongside any metrics and information you want to show.

Start by selecting the date range you want to see at the top right of the page. Click the dropdown arrow, select the timeframe you want to look at, and click “Update.”

Click the settings cog ‘⚙️’ to adjust your currency, set the report to display full width, or change or delete the connected Facebook account.

From here, you can also go to the “Manage connected ad accounts” page by clicking the “Manage accounts” button if you want to adjust these settings. If you want to upgrade your plan to create more live reports like the Business Dashboard, click the “Get More Reports” button. In addition, you can modify the report template by clicking the edit pencil button.

It opens a screen where you can edit the layout of your report. In the “Widgets” section on the left, you’ll find all the elements you can incorporate into your dashboard. Drag and drop them into place on the right and shuffle the existing ones around to suit your needs.

How to share your Business Dashboard report

Share your live Business Dashboard report with members of your team. Click the “Share” button at the top right of the page to open the menu.

Slide on the “LIVE Report” toggle to access the link.

Click the “Copy” button to copy the URL to your clipboard and share it with your team members—the link is publicly accessible.

Difference with Facebook

You can access some of this information and create reports on Facebook, but it’s harder to configure it into something you can work with, and you only have access to Meta analytics.
